A.J. Burkhart (also known as Ajae) is a writer, artist, educator, actor, comedian and video maker. They make content about contemporary culture, social justice, mental health, sexuality, and gender. They have a bachelor’s degree from Pitzer College in Media Studies and Critical Global Studies. They are working on a book about the year they drew their way through mental health recovery.
